FLER FANZINER OG HJEMMELAGA BUTTONS

A Doll’s House is a theme-based, quarterly fashion and art fanzine published by two Norwegian females; photographer Hilde Holta-Lysell and writer Astri Barbala. Both have Bachelor/Master degrees in their respective fields from London universities, and have worked extensively within the fashion and media industries both in Norway and internationally for several years.

The fanzine is based on the ethos of DIY (do-it-yourself), and experiments with alternative ways of displaying fashion and popular culture, particularly by avoiding stagnated and stereotypical presentations of women.

Each issue features work from selected contributors within fashion, art and the media, focusing mainly on presenting young, up-and-coming female talent.

#41/2: The Nachspiel Issue (a collaboration with the Slottsfjell festival; the issue includes all the interviews we did while working for the festival summer of 2010)
